Disen Is On Our Artist Spotlight
Disen, also known as Wayne Alexander, is an up-and-coming hip-hop artist from Australia. His life has been filled with second chances.
He fell into a dangerous path of drugs and alcohol at a young age, leading to addiction. This addiction took him down a dark and dangerous road, resulting in him being kicked out of school and turning to crime to support his habit.
Eventually, he found himself facing jail time and juvenile detention. In 2002, he found God and began working on himself to live a life in God’s image.
He started speaking to teenagers about the dangers of alcohol, drugs, and addiction. During this time, his uncle Ben ‘Nebs’ Hopkinson, Australia’s Best Producer, began collaborating with him to create hip-hop beats and music.
Since then he has stayed on the path with God and continues to share his testimony and music with others who may be facing similar struggles.
